You are warmly invited to join us in our virtual CreaTEAvity Studio for a relaxed, experiential afternoon retreat, designed to nourish and nurture your creative wellness through the magic of our unique SlowSew Winter Retreat kit.
Imagine a space where you can put to one side any mind-monkeys, and take time out for you … sharing a virtual cuppa, chatting with like-minded souls, all the while allowing your creative process to flow through your hands, one stitch at a time.

Of allowing the slow rhythm of stitching to slow down your breathing - and quietening your busy mind.
In this delightfully mindful and contemplative practice, there are no fancy stitches to follow … and no experience needed. Just a willingness to try something new with an open heart.

When you book a retreat space for our GoSlowSew Winter Retreat, you will receive:
- access to our 3-hour online retreat space on Saturday 3rd February, led by Callie Di Nello, a hand-stitching enthusiast and mixed media artist
- by post*, a GoSlowSew Winter Retreat kit containing: glittery fabric piece, bamboo embroidery hoop (5”), a selection of glass beads and real labradorite gemstone beads, a bead embroidery needle, a full 8m skein of DMC Coloris ‘North Wind’ variegated cotton embroidery thread … and a few surprises (£15 value!)

Additional tools & materials you may need:
- scissors
- a coloured pen
- plain paper
- fabric pieces, scraps, buttons, charms and other treasures that evoke a feeling of “winter” in you
Please kindly note: there is no expectation on you to share. This is completely optional; just being part of a small creative group (a ‘circle’) can be profoundly uplifting and healing.
GoSlowSew Winter Retreat is open to everyone - all you need is a willingness to do a very simple running stitch and let the your inner child guide you.
Taking part in our creative arts and SlowSew activities offers you a gentle, fun way to help improve your wellbeing, gifting you a way to express yourself without needing to find the right words. They are a wonderful way to help lift loneliness and feelings of isolation: this retreat is being offered via Zoom, online, to help those who may be housebound, or find it difficult or uncomfortable to attend in-person events.
Your retreat will be led by CreaTEAvity Studio’s creative arts coach and hypnotherapist, Callie Di Nello, who is passionate about helping people reconnect to their resilient, brilliant true self through therapeutic creative play. She is on a mission-of-permission to help people discover the healing power of play, and reconnect to their true colours.

Please kindly note: all kits will be despatched by Royal Mail or courier. I cannot guarantee your retreat kit will arrive before our retreat date if you choose to order within 2 weeks of the retreat date (3rd February 2024).
I am happy to post out kits to retreaters outside of the UK (subject to covering additional postage and any inbound customs fees) but again, I am unable to guarantee delivery times or additional customs charges payable by you at point of delivery.
